I have been living in New York for over a month now!  I am a bit more settled and will be able to get back to some serious blogging.  I'm working a lot but am really enjoying this city, living in Brooklyn.  Whilst doing some research for work this week I stumbled upon the above Comme Des Garçons collection from 2005.  I've always loved pink but now I can't stop thinking about having loads of pink things for Summer.  I'm not a girly girl in the slightest so the fact that the collection is menswear is perfect for me. I happened to stumble upon a vintage pair of John Lennon sunglasses much like the Topshop ones above except they are pink tinted Ray-bans.  These have been getting a great deal of wear.  I think this collection has become my Summer clothing inspiration.  For hot days I'll just substitute the pants for shorts.  I think everyone needs more pink in their lives.

I have been a long time Diptyque candle/fragrance buyer.  I remember the first time I walked into a Diptyque store.  It was the one in Notting Hill, London and it was dangerously close to my work place.  On first visit I exited with a Pomander candle and a bottle of L'eau.  That was over 5 years ago and the love is still strong.  I have been through many of the scents now and am currently burning a giant Tuberose for sunny days and a limited edition from Christmas that smells a bit like a pine tree for cozy nights.

Reading in bed with a candle burning is one of the nicest things in the world.  If you haven't indulged, I advise you to do so if you can!

It's been a fair while since I have posted a mood board!  I actually got a bit excited doing this one as I realised how much I missed making these.

I have been busy as usual, workin', hanging out and generally trying to do a million life things before I make my big trip in a month.  I'm still attempting to make my wardrobe suitcase friendly and have begun a really intense edit of the clothes I have.  Currently I am enjoying a nightlife free lifestyle, so I am living in jelly shoes and black ankle boots.  It's getting a lot cooler here so I have also been able to bring out the knit wear.  My cozy navy Comme Des Garcons Play cardi has been my lazy choice.

I also bought a new camera recently, which I will post about shortly.  It will be my new companion in my bag at all times.  Kind of excited to get some more of my own photos on to this blog.
